Spot A Casino Craps Table That Is Hot

If you want money to start flowing your way the moment you enter a casino, the very first thing that you have to do is to spot a Craps table that is hot. Following are a few suggestions that will help you identify whether a casino table is in great shape before you start throwing your chips in.

Listen To The Gamblers’ Body Language And What They Are Saying

The easiest way is to focus your attention on how the gamblers are reacting on the different Craps table. If they are happy and laughing loudly with exclamations like “WOW”, it is a clear indication that the table is hot. On the other hand, if you see disappointed faces on a poker table with exclamations like “Damn”, you should stay away from the same.

Watch The Rail

Rail is the place in casino where players put their casino chips. So, look at this place in order to see which types of chips are common there. Watch the color. On a hot Craps table, each gambler will have lots of casino chips in front of them. The hottest table will have fewer white ($1) or red ($5) chips and lots of green ($25) and black ($100) chips. You will get a much better idea by looking at the total amount of chips. You should reconsider the table if each player has less than $100 or so in total.

Number Of Casino Chips

Another idea is to look at the number of casino chips (green and black ones) that are being played on the table. The more number of higher value chips is an indication that the table is heating up.

Last, but not the least, you should also try to find out the number of times a shooter made the number he/she was shooting for.

Purchasing a case for Casino Poker Chips

If you are a real poker enthusiast you will not only learn how to play the game magnificently, behave in a polite way by the table and handle the chips with undebatable grace. You will also need a case for the same. But there are several things that you need to take into consideration while you buy one. Here is a brief rundown on how to do that.

The first thing that is very important for you to understand is that a case is not just a decorative item. You need it to store your clay poker chips in a safe and secure way. Therefore, you will have to make sure that the case you are buying offers quality together with great design.

Choosing the right type

There are four basic types of case that you can choose from. The choices include metal cases, vinyl cases, cases made of plastic and wood cases. Every type has its own advantages and disadvantages. You are strongly recommended to do a thorough research before you decide on one for your clay poker chips. Information is the key to making the right choice.

In fact, even wood cases are available in different types, based on the type of wood used, such as cedar, pine, etc. However, wood cases are not completely made of wood. These cases usually come with brass or plastic fittings, which make the cases not only more stylish but more durable too.

However, if you are looking for a highly affordable case for your clay poker chips, you should probably consider buying plastic cases. While doing so, you should also keep in mind that plastic cases are usually very light weighted, but casino chips carry quite a bit of weight. So, plastic cases may be affordable, but they may not prove to be a very durable option.

You can choose to buy your poker case online, but the danger of that is that you will get something that looked qualitative on the pictures, but appears plastic or ridiculously heavy when you have already paid for them. So if you don’t get the feeling that you are getting a bargain (and maybe not even then), don’t make the purchase online. You’d do better to go to a store where they sell poker accessories, and have the right knowledge.

Of course your choice of poker chips or your poker chips case won’t affect your game much, but in comparison with the phone salesman making better figures when he’s dressed in a suit than when he’s dressed in a jumpsuit, it can’t hurt to be stylish in all aspects.

Tilting your opponents

Category: Poker

It can happen to almost anyone at anytime. Well the blood starts rushing and the anger builds up inside. Suddenly all your calm controlled game plans are gone with the wind and you start making stupid decisions. Even though you know it’s wrong to call you do it anyway. You might even motivate it with thoughts like “everyone else does it so why shouldn’t I”. It’s stupid and inside you know it, but the call button suddenly looks more tempting than ever and you lose money that you just as easy could have kept on your own.

Of course this isn’t all bad since it can just as likely happen to your opponents. A person gets sucked out in a big pot, says something bad in the chat and then instantly makes a rebuy. Often this player will come after the person who won against him or her in the first place, making stupid calls just to try and get even. In live games the tilt can get very ugly and some persons don’t know when to stop complaining about earlier played hands. On the internet this is easily fixed by just turning of the chat but unfortunately this can’t be done in real live games. You can always ask someone to be quiet but saying something like that to a tilted player might get ugly consequences. Using music in live poker is an easy way to get rid of all the opponents chat that might disturb your concentration. But by using music you might miss important information like when it’s your turn or if someone is very upset.

Playing against tilted players are by all means something you should try and do because they are tilted they often make stupid decisions that can mean more money to you. Of course the tilt will just keep getting bigger if you manage to win money from the losing player. But don’t be rude or say something stupid. Instead try to be polite and say things like unlucky so that the player will choose to stay at your table and hopefully lose more money to you. Cause after all thats what playing poker is all about, winning money.

Earn money from games

I have always loved games. Computer games, videogames, games you play with a dice and of course games you play with a deck of cards. The thing that’s different about me is that I never stopped playing all of these games when I grew older. I just kept on playing like a hobby or something. Others collected stamps and read books about an wizard kid but I just liked my games.

Always when I started playing a new game I could very fast decide if it was a game I would complete or grow tired of in a couple of minutes. Often I completed the games just because I had paid for them. If I didn’t complete the game, the whole purchase would have been stupid and I would have bought it in vain.

When I later in my life learned that you could actually earn money from playing games it was like I was in paradise. Even though I couldn’t get rich by playing a first person shooter I could earn money by playing Blackjack or Texas Hold´em. I started out by playing with play money, mostly to get a feel for the games I would play and because it was a free way to get well needed practice.

The hours in front of the computer went by and I soon felt ready to make my first real deposit. Even though I nowadays don´t even flinch when I put all my money in I can still remember the first time I went all-in in the beginning of my career.

My heart was pounding and even though I had the nuts I felt terrified that I would lose the pot. Luckily I didn’t and after that first time I have shoved my money in the middle countless number of times. And I still love all games that I play, and if I can also get rich while doing it, it must be a win-win situation, right?

Strategy to Beat Online Loose Players

Author: AllGamer
Category: Poker

When playing a game of online poker and you sit at the proverbial poker table, one of your opponents will more than likely come face-to-face with a loose opponent. The experienced players will most likely complain about the loose opponents saying that they are the cause of many of the “bad beats”. These players can be frustrating for even the experienced sharks.

The best way to combat the loose players that you run into online is to adjust your own personal game. Here are some ways to strategize against beating a loose player.

A loose online opponent is typically referred to as someone that plays many hands regardless or the quality of their hand. You can find a loose opponent by observing the cards that they play. Keep close watch on the hands that they raise prior to when they call a flop. Take notes on the cards that they use while rising prior to flopping. Don’t overestimate their calls.

While loose opponents ultimately lose money, their strategy is advantageous because it hides the actual strength of their hand. The other players will never know what type of card the loose opponent is playing – good or bad. A loose opponent may feel the need for action or they are looking to spend as little money as possible during each hand.

There are several types of loose opponents. Looseness can be broken down into three categories. They are passive opponents who are also known as Blackjack Players, Calling Stations, or the most dangerous of all the loose opponents, the aggressive opponent. Blackjack Players play blackjack similar to other players in that their goal is to reach twenty-one. The main difference is that they announce each hand prior to flopping regardless of the amount that is raised. Calling Stations play fewer hands than a Blackjack Player would. They are selective about announcing their pre-flop choices. The loose aggressive opponents will give you the most run for your money. They have no problem betting and raising the pot regardless of what their hand looks like. Their actions are not based on their hands.

When you have figured out what type of loose opponent you are playing against, you can devise a plan against that player to help you beat him. Maybe take help from poker tools, for example.

To beat a Blackjack Player you have to have a tight game yourself. Add to the pot as much as you can. Don’t allow the player to see your cards until he has put as much money into the pot.

To beat a Calling Station player, bet less than the amount of bets you would place with a Blackjack Player. They are always sure to call you out on your bets. Don’t bluff with a calling station player.

When playing against a loose aggressive player, try to isolate yourself. Keep a tight game. Don’t raise unless you know that you have a good hand. Let this type of player bet first.

No matter what type of loose player you play against, know that they catch cards. It’s just a fact of their game. Just remember to keep your game tight.

Playing poker for the first time

When you start playing poker for the first time you will probably not be the best player in town. Not to worry though, cause even though it might seem like a pretty easy game to master it really isn’t a game you can learn in a couple of hours.

Sure, you can learn the basics of the game but to truly understand the game you must be willing to dedicate more than a few hours into the game. And not only learn the theories of the game and learn things like pot odds and preflop odds but more deeply knowledges and of course things like poker rules.

Like how to play against a certain type of player or how to react when you’re two million outer misses on the river in the monster pot. A certain amount of poker knowledge you can only learn by sitting at the tables or in front of a computer for hours and more hours. Here you can get a certain feel for this wonderful game that no book or instruction video can ever teach you.

Another thing that you must learn if you are committing yourself into the game of poker is all the rules there are out there. And there are sure a lot of different rules that applies to the game. Even though you might think that you know all there is to know about Texas Hold’em, you probably don’t know as much about seven card stud or omaha high-low.

The easiest solution to this is of course to only play online poker. Here you don’t have to think about rules since the computer takes care of this for you. At many live games you can get help to since there is people that can help you out if you feel lost in the jungle of poker rules.

But since it doesn’t always feel good to always have to ask someone every time you feel confused it might be a good idea to learn some for yourself. And once you master the basic rules and feel confident about yourself you will find out that there are many unwritten rules that you have to find out about by yourself.

Texas Holdem Tip: The legend Stu Ungar

Author: AllGamer
Category: Texas Holdem

Stu Ungar’s name is a name mentioned with respect among poker players. It is difficult to say who the best poker player is, but many would definitely say that Stu Ungar is the answer.
He is the guy who won the World Series of Poker five times, and the Super Bowl of Poker three times. The fact that he only participated in about thirty contest while he lived (he died in 1998) is quite remarkable, considering how many of them he won.

He was, in a way, destined to become a great poker player. He had a very high IQ and photographic memory, and he was a very good mathematician. But he also had some problems that would be his downfall in a very sad way.

He never had a normal job, but only won and lost money through gambling. Apart from poker, he did very well playing on horses, and playing gin rummy, backgammon and blackjack. The latter one he was so good at, that there were no casino to let him in after a while. He just won and won. Even though he was called “The kid”, he still had a talent that didn’t remind at all of a childs.
He had a son who committed suicide when he was in his teens, and Stu himself was only 45 at the time of his own death. He was a heavy drug addict, and when he died he left behind a daughter who was fifteen years old.

“The kid” was only twenty four when he entered the WSOP for the first time, and when he won many people and critics said that it was because of luck. He entered the year after, and just to prove them wrong, he won again. That is pretty exceptional. So yes, I think it is safe to say that he was one of the best poker players in the world – if not the best.
