With Unusual Players
Hello there!
I regularly play in upper limit ring games in Atlantic City. I know I did well in my previous games but recently things started to change as I decided to be creative. I suddenly encountered a lot of players with playing styles hard to adapt. Such players believe any cards can win.
Now my question is, say you play in a game with players like the ones I’ve described above and you have to come up with a money making strategy which might no be that exciting and creative but would be later on rewarding and profitable, what will be your move?

If I have a style that is a winning style, I will use it. If you want to play poker to “have fun” or to have a thrill, play lower limits. When you move up, that’s when the game becomes more of a job and work and it becomes about making money. Who cares if your style is flashy or impressive? If you are a winning player with it, that is the most impressive thing of all.
